Here’s the first video we’ve finished for the Decibel Festival we filmed a couple weeks ago. Remember that? The event where the French Press Films team stayed up until 5am every night and drank so much coffee that Chris’ teeth turned brown?

Here’s something we put together for one of the festival’s showcases. It features clips of Nosaj Thing, Mary Anne Hobbs, Daedelus, Mala, and Megasoid.

We launched the Awaken Cafe video series on Tuesday, and the first video has already generated some interest. Who knew people were so curious about Third Wave Coffee? Regardless, we’re stoked that people are actually paying attention to the silly videos we make and sharing/commenting/talking about them. It makes the entire French Press Films crew feel like staying up until five AM wired out of our brains on caffeine is worth it.

Next up for us is The Decibel Festival, which is taking place at the end of September in Seattle. decibel-mountains Its an electronic music fest/art show, and I can’t wait. We’re really excited to be a part of this, and we’ll be covering the event from start to finish. I (Chris) haven’t even been to Seattle before, so to be able to go up there and make some videos is something I really looking forward to.
